Favorite Memories
Quotes from HMLRC Campers…
“HMLRC is my home away from home, and is one of my favorite places on this entire planet. A lot of friendships were made, and plenty of goodbye tears were shed. Many of my most treasured memories are from Hungry Mother. Not only was my faith enriched, but each summer I was able to reconnect with myself. There are not enough words to describe exactly what this camp means to me, you simply must experience it yourself.”
“Throughout the years that I’ve been at camp, it has always been such a wonderful experience. With worship, lake days, bike riding, games, and so much more; this camp holds such a special place in my heart! I love being able to come back and be an “assistant counselor” so I can still experience the joys of camp!”
“I attended as a camper, and junior counselor and then a counselor. Many of my lifelong friendships were made at church camp. I can remember one year we had so many campers we filled the bunkhouse, the cabin and some tents. One year we set up tents in the field and camped out for a few nights…”
